WHY LOOKING UP IS GOOD FOR OUR BRAIN

Dr Fiona Kerr, founder of NeuroTech has launched her research paper – The art and science of looking up – together with a new initiative that explains the benefits of people putting down their mobile phones .

Dr Kerr notes that people’s attention spans have shortened by about one third over the last 15 years and says that while we think we may be giving our brains a rest when scrolling on our devices, this sort of distraction kills our ability to day dream.

On this week’s Life Coaching Segment with Tim, I share three ways you can give your brain a rest by not reaching for the phone.
