Instagram: The New Social Media Addiction

Did you know that Instagram is one of the new social media addiction nowadays?

A survey of 1500 children and young adults showed that of the five major social media platforms – Instagram was most associated with high anxiety, depression, bullying, and FOMO.

Recently Instagram introduced changes to their platform where they do not show the number of likes. On this week’s Afternoon with Timothy Charles we talk about social media addiction and what to do if you feel you (or your teen) are experiencing Mental Health issues because of overuse.
