Highlights from my Iconic Experience
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of attending a women’s leadership workshop in Los Angeles.
ICONIC was facilitated by Ali Brown – you may know of her from her podcast Glambition Radio… or her work as a leading business coach for female entrepreneurs.
I am a great believer in continually upskilling my skills in the coaching and mentoring of women – and have chosen to step out of my own comfort zone as much as I can – to stay ahead of trends.
To say that I was ‘out of my comfort zone’ was an understatement – two powerful days, at the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, with 50 high net worth women from around the world has a way of making you realize that “I was not in Kansas (or the Gold Coast) anymore!!!.”
Many of the women are leaders in their field who I truly admire – including

Kendall Summer-Hawke, who facilities high end VIP coaching days for coaches and business owners
Tiffany Petersen, who has shared the stage with the likes of Jack Canfield and Robert Kiyosaki,
Wendy Powell, creator of the highly successful MuTu Systems.
Kavita J Patel – Love and Relationships coach
Barbara Stanny, author of 5 books on women and wealth and a leading authority on women, wealth and investing
and others who I did not know previously, but am now in connection with, makes me realise the possibilities that are available to all of us.
Most of these women began with an idea… many started their business when they were in huge debt – including Barbara Stanny who started her passion whilst she trying to work her way out of $1million dollars in debt her ex-husband had gambled.
But there were four similarities all these powerhouse women had in common…
1. They were all exactly the same person they appeared to be on social media (how refreshing!)
2. They were all frustrated by the noise of the online world, and felt challenged by the accepted status quo of marketing their business.
3. They all experience the Imposter Syndrome and Self-Sabotage when aiming to take their business to the next level.
4. They were all just like you!
